Eating Habits
Aracaris feed in flocks, using their large bills to pluck fruits. They pass undigested seeds, helping new plants to grow.
Curl-Crested Aracaris (Pteroglossus beauharnaesii) nest in tree cavities where both parents incubate their eggs. They are generally gregarious and fly in small flocks of 3-12 birds or in pairs through the canopy, foraging in fruiting trees.
