Free Public Programs | Saturdays | 11:00am
First Saturday of the month:
Creative Conservation: Hands-on crafts and activities, promoting the three Rs often using up-cycled stuff you probably already have at home.
Second Saturday of the month:
Tales from the Trees: A variety of chats, lectures, and stories celebrating nature from the stars to the leaves.
Third Saturday of the month:
Habitat Helpers: Join others as we learn together and actively participate in protecting what we love.
Fourth Saturday of the month:
Ranger Rambles: All ages guided explorations on the boardwalks and trails.

Located in New Orleans East.
Parking: Free on-site parking, located at the main entrance.

- From New Orleans, take I-10 East and exit Read Blvd.
- Turn right onto Read Blvd.
- Turn left onto Lake Forest Blvd.
- Turn right into the entrance on Waterford St.
- Audubon Louisiana Nature Center will be directly ahead.

Groups and Field Trips
Day Use Permit Request Form
Non-facilitated group trips are allowed for groups of up to 90 guests per day. Permits are free but limited and must be approved on a case-by-case basis.
Small Group Meeting Space
Mission-based groups can reserve a dedicated meeting space for small gatherings.
